What Causes Pain In Shoulder Radiating Towards Chest While Having Sinus Infection?

Hi.I have had a head cold and sinus problems and for the last week I have a shallow breath. The first pain was in my shoulder (which was chronic for a while) and then in the left side of my chest. The pain then moved to the right side of my chest and my back and then to the centre. I couldn t breath deeply without it paining me. I am feeling tired but then I also have fibro myalgia so I was putting my fatigue down to that. I have been taking anti inflamatories which I think have helped and I feel a bit better with less pain.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that you may have the flu. This would cause cold symptoms but would also be associated with muscle and joint pain.

You can continue the use of the anti inflammatory pain medication since that is helping to relieve your discomfort.
Fluids, rest, antihistamines and decongestants would help as well. The medication is over the counter.

I hope this helps
