What Causes Pain In Shoulder Radiating Towards Elbow?

I have pain in my right shoulder and sometimes a shooting pain down to my elbow. I am on blood thinners but have been taking three acetemediphene in a 24 hour period and it helps some. The pain is worse when i sleep as I do put weight on the shoulder area. Left side is fine, I am right handed.

Hi.

A cardiac check up along with a check on your gastric region like a 24 hour pH monitoring, and a medical history should help your doctor to find the cause. Although a gastric cause would be more likely, to be on the safer side I prefer ruling out a cardiac cause as well.
