What Causes Pain In Shoulders,elbows,knees And Hips?

Hello, I have been having a lot of aching pain in my shoulders, elbows, hip area, and knees this has been happening the past three weeks, very discomforting. don't know what is going on here. I have been taking ibuprofin and applying cream to the areas with no ease of pain. can you help me by giving me an idea of what might be going on.
