What Causes Pain In Sole Of The Foot And Swollen Calf?

Hi, may left calf is swollen and has been for quite some time. Also, after wearing flat shoes or no shoes at all, when I first get up in the morning I experience a lot a pain on the sole of my foot but only under my left heel. Can yiou indicate why this might be? Thanks.
