What Causes Pain In Soles Of Feet?

The soles of my feet hurt everyday. I have seen two specialists and they do not have a solution. One prescribed an expensive Rx called Metanax, which I took regularly for 90 days without seeing any benefit. The feeling is as if they are bruised. Average Pain is around 3 to 5 on a 1-10 scale. I am 6 -2 and weigh 210; 55yrs of age.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Mtanax is vitamin B complex supplement. I feel the pain you have is mostly due to bone weakness. I would suggest calcium and vitamin D supplement (Tab. Shellcal 500mg) over the counter twice a day (morning and afternoon with a glass of milk or fruit juice. Start doing feet exercises / moderate walking. This would help you.n 2 weeks time. Continue with calcium pill once a day only. If not, get your blood levels of the vitamins checked and start with inject-able as per need.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
