What Causes Pain In Sternum Area?

Injury on Jan. 5, 2011 with added stress on Jan. 14 of right clavicle. er dr. said subluxation of clavicle probable. Very painful in sternum area. no treatment by orthopedic dr. because of insurance as of Feb. 8. Any other serious concerns about area in pain.
