What Causes Pain In Tail Bone Area Post Cyst Removal?

I had a cyst where my tail bone is around six months ago. A nurse drained it and I was given antibiotics which cleared it all up. The last week I have been experiencing pain in the same place and today I have noticed I have a small hole just below where I had the cyst. Its a little painful when I sit in a certain position. What could this be? Is it serious?
Thanks.
