What Causes Pain In Tailbone Post Extensive Back Surgery?

I have had extensive back surgery and I am now having pain in the area of the tailbone. It hurts when I bend over, cough or walking. Is this another disc issue, and if so, what level? Sometimes while buying groceries, the pain is so intense, I have to sit down and often feels like the whole bottom end is going to fall out.
