What Causes Pain In Testicle?

I am a 50 year old man who is having pain in my left testicle.I am sure that it is not a sexualiy transmitted disease.I have had rotator cuff surgery about 7 weeks ago. This pain in the testicle showed up about 4 weeks ago.What could be causing this pain?The pain can be alevel 8 or 9 out of a 10 at times.

The pain in the left testicle can be due to infection and inflammation of the testis, called orchitis.
You need to undergo an ultrasonography and color doppler examination.
As also Urine test to see there is no urinary tract infection.
You will need a long course of an antibiotics and supportive treatment. You need to have a proper scrotal support.
Cancer has to be ruled out
