What Causes Pain In Testicles?

I had a vp shunt put in last tuesday. The healing and recovery seems to be going well. The only thing ive noticed in the last week is pain in my testicles. It a shorts stabbing pain. It happens at random times and also after I urinate. Do you think it could be an infection from the shunt?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi. Practically and anatomically not possible. This can be a concurrent infection and get treated for this. Consult an Urologist. Have an ultrasonography and color doppler of the scrotum and abdomen. Urine culture sensitivity will help.
