What Causes Pain In The Abdomen And Elevated WBC Count?

My 9 year old granddaughter was in sever pain and took her to er last night. They said her white blood cells were high. They Sent her home thinking kidney infection. At her appt at doctors today They said no kidney infection, her spleen is enlarged and discolored. She has had diarrhea and vomited bile yesterday. Its military Hosp so they are not continueing Test till next week since they have her pain down, with morphine. What are your thoughts?

Hi,

The symptoms seem to be related to splenomegaly due to an infection.I suggest you to continue a cycle of antibiotics and and anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to treat the inflammation. You should consult your doctor about this treatment.
