I m having pain in my lower left side. It feels like someone is literally stabbing at my side. Not sure what this can be? Recently had a CT scan and Ultrasound to figure out ... Said it may be the beginning of Diverticulosis? Is this the type of pain I can feel? Thank you,

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Yes diverticulosis cause this time of the pain.
It cause cramping, bloating, flatulence, and irregular defecation.

Pain can be reduced by medicine like dicyclomine and tramadol.
Do not use aspirin and NSAIDs as it increase the the risk of comlication.
Increase the fiber intake around 20–35 grams each day.
Wheat bran has much to commend it as this has been shown to reduce intra colonic pressure and reduce the pain.
