What Causes Pain In The Abdomen On The Right Side?

I ve been on a prednisone taper for the past 8 months. I am currently on 3.5 mg daily.Three months ago while in emergency room with severe upper right abdominal pain, a CT scan revealed that I most likely passed a gallstone. Since, I have had no issues until the past 48 hours with burning nausea like pain in middle of gut, especially after eating. I am very active, 63 year old runner, average weight, eat healthy.

Your symptoms seem to be related to gallstone diagnosis. You can use Buscopan for pain. If the symptoms continue you should consult a surgeon for further evaluation.
