What Causes Pain In The Ankle And Seizures After A Leg Fracture?
Hi my son broke his tibula and fibular 5 weeks ago after 3 weeks in pot,the pot was removed.HIs ankle keeps giving way,hes in severe pain,hes epileptic and the pain is causing seizures he s been back to a&e and the a&e doctors are querying circulation problems and possible more broken bones in his foot His doctor in fracture clinic is saying it s soft tissue damage My son went to physio last week and the physio showed my partner x-rays with my son s name on that he as never been shown before and there s white lines on it but the physio is saying that they are new muscle I have always been told muscles,tendons,and ligaments do not show up on x-ray
It looks like your son is not getting proper treatment. You are suggested to visit an orthopedics, get your son physically examined. Get him X-ray, CT & MRI done.
Help him get properly assessed and treated at the earliest.
His treatment will depend upon the severity of fracture, injury or ligament, tendon stretching or tear.
He can take pain relievers Combiflam, one sos when required or NSAIDS.(if your son is 18 plus, you have not mentioned the age of your son).
