What Causes Pain In The Arm After A Cat Scratch?

I was scratched my a friend s cat today on the side of my wrist (not near any veins), and it doesn t look particularly deep and the bleeding stopped after a minute, now my entire arm hurts, to the point that I cannot move it very well. Will this heal itself?

Hi i do care for your concern.
due to scratching of cat bleeding occurred.
I would advise
To clean the area with soap and water.
Apply topical antiseptic such as povidone iodine.
These measures are enough to relieve of symptoms.
If pain is severe mild pain killer like tylenol would suffice.
It is advisable to have tetanus toxoid shot, if not taken in previous three years.
