What Causes Pain In The Arm After Receiving A Flu Shot?

My husband had a flu shot one month ago and has experienced l arm pain for the past month. Cannot use the arm and has had heat and ice applied. Not any better at all. Now, we noticed left groin swelling in the femoral area of his groin. The swelling is just below the groin going into the femoral area down the left leg. No pain but sudden onset. Are these two related? And what to do about both issues.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is just an inflammatory pain. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself. As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
