Hello,

Postcholecystectomy shoulder pain may be observed in up to 20% of patients. This pain may be due to increased duration of surgery or increased pressure of gas during surgery etc.

It may reduce 5-10days after surgery. If not improved please consult your surgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
