What Causes Pain In The Arms After Nexplanon Birth Control Placement?

Hi, I got the nexplanon birth control almost 2 weeks ago however it hurts to move my arm in certain directions, whenever I put my arm straight down by my side, or when its touched. Its a sharp stabbing/stinging pain. The only thing that helps is wrapping it with an ace bandage. Not sure if I should go get it check out or if this is normal.
