What Causes Pain In The Arms While On Dexilant?

I am taking 60 mg dexilant daily for about 2 weeks or so and have started having hurting in my arms, across my chest and back but mostly arms and across chest. Felt like i was taking the flu at first. One day was nauseous and could not function. Slept all day. Pain meds will not relieve the hurting. Hurts to even move my arms. I was recently diagnosed with celiac with sever stomach issues. Had stomach ulcers and esophagus was bad. Sever indigestion and other issues. The delixant has worked amazing but started having the aching in arms and other areas. Should i be concerned??

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is not related to Dexilant.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
