Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Yes, Minerva may cause back pain through irritation of uterine wall this pain may be there in early days of insertion. It also causes pelvic inflammatory diseases in a few patients may lead to back pain.

But don't worry, use tablet mefenamic acid twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
