What Causes Pain In The Back And Neck?

I had a sudden cracking or popping feeling in the back of my neck several weeks ago leaving my neck stiff and pain radiating from my neck to the top of my head. Had X-ray showed arthritis and no fracture. I m taking Advil 3 times daily with little relief. Help!

Hi,

You are having arthritis problem of neck spine. For that physiotherapy will be beneficial. Meanwhile you can be prescribed anti-inflammatory drug course along with. Heat pad application will be beneficial in relieving pain and inflammation. You should try to avoid prolonged sitting position.
