What Causes Pain In The Back Around Lower Lung Area?
Hello. I have Psoriatic Arthritis. Two months ago I started having pains in my back around the lower lung area. I went to my doctor and he sounded my lungs with the stethoscope and could find nothing wrong. Now I have this pain in my right lung area as well. It comes on particularly worse at night and lasts through the night. When I wake up in the morning it is often there also. I don t have any difficulty breathing or any cough. Can you help?
I think that this pain may be related to muscle pain or spinal cord issues. You may need to do an X-ray of the spine to get checked. Take anti-inflammatory drugs such Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen for pain and discomfort.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
