What Causes Pain In The Back Of The Neck And Lower Back?

Started with stabbing pain below my right breast 5 days ago. Today, I have terrible pain in the right side of my neck, trapezius and down my back. When I breath, I get a stabbing pain in all these areas. It's very uncomfortable. 9 days ago i recovered from a bad cough. Yesterday I lifted a heavy box. Should I go into a doctor's office?
