Dull pain in your lower back, over the kidney area, can be caused by several conditions. If this is a pain that is affected by movement or touch, this can be muscle pain. If it is worse with breathing or you have a cough, this may be lung disease. The presence of urinary symptoms may indicate a urinary infection or kidney stones.
It is important to have a check with your doctor and have your lungs and heart checked and also a urinalysis. After the results of these examinations, the doctor will decide on further management.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj General and Family Physician
