What Causes Pain In The Breasts While Having Periods?

I have been having my period for at least 10 years and have always had my breasts become sore a week before and during my period. Today is the first day of my period and my breasts have been sore for a week, but today I noticed that one of my nipples was kind of puffy. Is this a normal side effect?

I really appreciate your concern, it is not the side effect but it is physiological phenomenon and it happens due to change of hormone level and it is nothing to worry at all just take it easy hope this information concern.
