What Causes Pain In The Buttocks After Taking A Depo Provera Shot?

I received the depo proveda shot about a month ago, on the beginning of feburary i should be gething another one, its been 2 or 3 weeks that i have been having cramps in my left gluteus and were they injected it. Out of no were a shooting pain in the middle of my butt occurs and starts to cramp up. Is this normal it hasnt gone away. Did the medical assistant maybe injected me wrong can that be a possibility?

welcome to hcm ..any injection gives pain but pain one month after injection is not normal and shooting pain is absoloutely wrong thing ..please consult doctor
he will see whether the injection was given at proper place of buttock as uppee outer quadrant ...you may need neurotonics for few days ..
