What Causes Pain In The Buttocks?

I have recently been under going treatment for pain in my buttocks. I have a history of crohns and had a fissure approx 6 weeks ago. A week or so after the fissure was under control this pain started. Saw a GI she said doesn t look related. Saw a a Chiro - suggested it was SacroThrombus ligament strain. Treated for few weeks still not better. this past week went to family doctor and he said I have abcess. Abcess was cut and drained- underway - 3 days now. My question is that there is bruising in my groin both sides, abcess was on right. Last chiro treatment was 5 days ago. No pain or swelling where bruise is. Is this related to abcess or maybe hip flexor adjustment at chiro
