What Causes Pain In The Calf While Walking Or Standing?
My wife is experiencing pain in her right calf. The calf feels full and tight compared to the other. It is aggravated by walking and standing. It seems to feel warmer than the left calf. She thinks she may have hurt it walking about a week ago. G

It may be a muscle injury indeed. However much more probable is deep veins thrombosis. All symptoms mentioned by you are typical for this condition.
As it can be very dangerous and have serious complications, I suggest her to consult a doctor as soon as possible.
Dopplers veins ultrasound should be done to confirm this diagnosis.
