What Causes Pain In The Chest And Back While Having Severe Tonsilitis?

Hi, I have a worse tonsil and its really swollen I feel tender in my throat and I have a back pain and chest pain everytime I breath because of that swollen tonsil. Is this normal? I went to ER they inject me a antibiotic but they said 2-3 days before it works and its 1 days today? Thank you for the answer

dear user...thanks for contacting us.....one of the most symptoms of tonsillitis is pain of the muscles ...tonsillitis of you is caused by bacterial infection and the bacterial infection elevate your temperature and cause severe fatigue muscle pain and bone pain....no worry about that ..when the infection treated you will be ok..thanks
