I have been having pain in my chest for quite a while now, it s not like heartburn it feels more like something stabbing my chest and it occasionally reaches my throat. i also have noticed that lately i haven t been able to eat much at night and feel nauseous. Im a 17 year old female. i ve never had health problems other then my epilepsy. i notice that above my naval my stomach is firm and it feels like a lump kind of in between my breast. i asked my doctor and she told me it was just a bone. But that s where im having the pain. It s towards the bottom of my breast. If you could help me to figure out these strange things i would love it. Thank you.
Listening to conversation my first impression is gastritis and reflux disease. Because of your age and other symptoms doesn't fit, I haven't kept the possibility of heart illness. Avoid fatty, oily and high calorie diet. Have some walk after having food instead of taking rest.
Have multiple small meals instead of heavy meals. Have regular sleep habits and avoid stress. Eat lots of green leafy vegetables, fruits, fish once or twice a week, avoid meat. Avoid smoking and alcohol if any. You can get prescribed tab Pantoprazole 40 mg before breakfast once a day for 2 weeks from local doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr Sagar Makode
