What Causes Pain In The Chest Inspite Of Stents Placement?
Hi, I had a heart attack about 3.5 months ago and 2 stents placement was done. Another 3 stents were placed one month later for other blocked vessels. I am now on medication for Brilinta, aspirin, Betaloc, isosorbite mononitrate, lipitor & Diovan (valsartan). I still experience slight pains near both sides of chest rib areas for certain times of the day and for certain days. What causes it and what should I do?

hi
this sort of chest pain is more common after your cardiac problem.
please do not stop any of your medications.
isosorbide mononitrate is the tablet to control the chestpain
if the pain is too recurrent , stop exerting yourself & meet your cardiologist
please avoid oily & spicy foods,& foods causing gastritis as they can cause esophageal induced coronary vasospasm
