What Causes Pain In The Chest On The Left Side?

I m having intermittent pain in left chest, that is sharp and lasts less than 60 seconds. Have had this 4-5 times in the last 3 weeks and today the pain was more intense. My upper back and arm were aching afterward. I had a discectomy and fusion on C-5 to C-7, January 4, 2017. Thought the back pain was related to that, however, now that it s happened several times, I m concerned. I have family history of heart disease/attacks.
