What Causes Pain In The Chest While On Propranolol?

I ve been taking Propranolol now for about 2 months. The first month was only 10mg. Then my doctor increased it to 40 mg. My question is that I occasionally feel a sharp pain at my heart for just a second, usually when I roll over in bed. Could it be a side affect from medicine. I ve never had it before. I just felt it again when in a store walking around, but it only lasted a second. I am a 60 yr old male, good health. I also take Hyzaar/Losartan/HCTZ 100-25mg

Good day and thank you for posting this question. Yes, propranolol could cause chest pain ( more of a Musculoskeletal pain). Kindly talk to your doctor, he will likely reduce the dosage and the chest pain will go away.
