Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
When I walk, I sort of charge walk. Recently this results in a pain like being pressed in wards at the top of my chest. apart from thecoronary arteries, could this be 1. psychsomatic? 2. Caused by strepto or stapholochocci infection that has moved down from my nose into my lungs?
First of all check cardiac status with EKG, blood pressure measurement and if needed echocardiography. If you are having congestion symptom then respiratory tract infection like bronchitis can be checked by auscultation and chest x-ray. If no specific cause found and you are having stress, anxiety history than yes it can be related to your chest pain. Yoga, meditation will be beneficial to get rid of stress.
If pain associated with particular movement then muscular strain can be the reason.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Parth Goswami
