What Causes Pain In The Chest With Severe Burping?
My 12 year old niece had to be picked up from school due to chest pain in the sternum ares. She has been burping a lot over the last several days and is very thin with a high metabolism. She had not eaten today and had a trip to the highschool to view their classes for next year. She never had any palpitations or SOB and so I don t think anxiety was a factor. She is a very picky eater and did eat some beef with A-1 sauce last night Most members in our family do get heartburn with that.

From history it seem that there might be having some food poisoning giving this burping and heart burn.
Give her omeprazole for 2-3 days.
Give her light food like curd, rice, buttermilk for 2 days.
Avoid giving fried or junk food.
Ok and take care.
