What Causes Pain In The Ear Cartilage?

I have pain in outer edge of ear, I have no swelling, no redness, no head cold, and I did not sleep on it. What can I do to make this feel better. It just keeps aching like someone is pressing it hard for about 5 seconds, then releasing. It s strange.

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to auricula condritis.

I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication for the pain such as Ibuprofen.

If the symptoms continue I suggest seeing an ENT specialist.
