Recently we have shifted to a new house on rent here she first time used air cooler but she complained in morning for pain in her ears and she had cough and runny nose since then. Is there any medication for her to treat her cough?and now we have stopped using air cooler because of its noise. Pls guide doctor. THANKS AND REGARDS.

Hi.

It can be due to viral infection, however, there can be chance that it is due to allergic reaction to any pollutants in the house or surrounding air.
So it is advisable to once consult an Emergency room and get her checked. For now you can give her Benadryl and along with it you can also give her cough suppressant like Dextromethorphan.

Doing steam inhalations and using a humidifier in her room can help. Also drink warm water and avoid spicy cold and irritant foods. Honey and ginger tea can be soothing. But getting clinically checked once is really necessary.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
