What Causes Pain In The Eye While Blinking?

Every so often, when blinking or moving my eye quickly to one side or the other, I get a sharp pain. I can pin-point the pain to the top portion of my iris, however, there is nothing that I can see on my iris. The pain is in the same spot every time. I am not sure if my contact may have irritated it, but I would like to avoid going to the doctor and getting charged for something that is going to heal itself. Is this a possibility or should I go in? I also take eye drops for GPC, will this hurt the issue?

it is not iris for which you are having pain. it must be in cornea. cause may be use of contact lens constantly without removing at bed time. it cause dry eye and corneal erosion. remove contact, use specs for some time. apply arti ficial tear eye drop 2times daily. it will be normal.
