What Causes Pain In The Feet?

Hi, I ve been having minor to severe pain in top portion of right foot. I usually ok after I take an ibuprophen or medication for occasional gout. The pain has been around for 2 weeks. i tried resting foot for two days, but the swelling seems to get aggravated after walking on it for a few hours. Wondering should I have foot x-rayed..

Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic.
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.i
Pain on your feet could be due to some minor contusion or sprain.
As of now take adequate rest and apply over the counter ointments like diclofenac gel. You can also take analgesics like ibuprofen or diclofenac for pain.
If symptoms persist despite all these consult an orthopaedic and get an X-ray done.
Wishing you good health
