What Causes Pain In The Foot After A Fall?

I fell down my basement steps and somehow hurt my foot. It is swollen some and I can t put any weight on it. Right below my ankle on the inside of my foot is where most of the pain is along with on top of my foot below my big toe. Do you think it s just a sprain or something more serious?

Hi, I have gone through your query.I suggest you to get a X-Ray of the foot done.In the meantime go in for alternate hot & cold compress of the foot.Tie a Crepe Bandage around the foot.We can get to know whether it is a sprain or fracture after seeing the X-Ray.
