What Causes Pain In The Groin Area And Light Menstrual Bleeding?

I have a 19mm cyst in my left ovary. occasionally I get sharp pain, it only last a couple seconds but its strong enough to keep me from moving. lately during my menstrual cycle I have strong pains in my groin area and my period has increased from a regular 3 day cycle to about 7 slow and extremely light cycles. should I be concerned??

Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
This may be caused by ovarian cysts or endometriosis so you need to do transvaginal ultrasound, and check your hormonal levels. It should clear this out.
I hope I have answered your query. I wish you a nice day.
