What Causes Pain In The Hand After Receiving A Corticosteroid Injection?

my wife, age 69, got a corticosteroid injection in her wrist 15 hours ago and is now experiencing terrible pain and inability to use her hand. Should I take her to an emergency room, or is there any other recommended treatment? email address: YYYY@YYYY

pain cause may be due to two reasons... first one is during needle puncture..your body response which cause inflammation and cause pain.. or sometimes cortisone crystallized under your skin.. which cause pain... u can apply ice packs on affected site.. if problem persists consult your doctor
