Hi,

Pain with black lump may be due to blood clotting which has resulted from some injury. If work is done with the hand then it can turn further black due to bleeding. The change of color may be due to the disintegration of the clot. Get treatment for the lump if it exists. You can apply ice pack on it or apply Thrombofob ointment on the lump. For further treatment go to a doctor for consultation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
