What Causes Pain In The Head And Spine?

Had a pain in my head for 6 days. Could not shake my head or cough without pain. Went to the gym after a few days and when I ran, the pain went into my spine. Slowly getting better now but was wondering if that is there is such a thing as a virus that get into your brain.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It is just a musculoskeletal pain. Nothing like virus. As of now you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief. Take adequate bed rest and drink plenty of water. Generally the symptoms will subside in couple of days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
