Hi,

As per your query you have pain in the helix of the ear and symptoms are probably due to chondrodermatitis nodularis chronica helicis. It is a painful inflammatory condition affecting the ear.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to avoid sleeping on the affected ear. You should wear a warm hat over the ears when outside in the cold and keep it clean and dry.

If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may treat the lesion with a cortisone injection and may prescribe topical 2% glyceryl trinitrate in severe cases to apply twice daily.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
