What Causes Pain In The Hip After Taking A Shot For Bursitis?
Hello Dr....I got a shot in my hip for bursitis...one month ago. I do not have pain in my hip but the muscles down the outside of my right leg from my hip to my knee and my buttocks area ache me like a toothache. I did therapy it was of very little value. I also do waterwalking in the pool several times a week. I cannot lay on my right side and it it difficult for me o get in a car. Do you nave any suggestions to help me. MARIE
It is not related to injection. As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
