Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain in my hip that interferes with my gate and migrates down my leg, it comes and goes but has been worse in the past few days. It came on while I was camping this weekend then again this morning while running/jogging. The pain disrupted my gate for a few moments then subsided
Based on the history you have shared, sometimes following camping or strenuous trekkings muscles get cramped or may experience tightness for few days if not habitual of athletism, and using OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen along with muscle relaxants like tizanidine or orphenadrine may be helpful for symptomatic relief. If persists, involved joints X-rays may be needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
