What Causes Pain In The Hip Bone When Pushing During Pregnancy?

Hello, Im 6 weeks & 3 days pregnant. I know i might be being a little on the over-worried side, but its my first pregnancy and everytime i get a little pain, i freak out and start googling things like "miscarriage symptoms,"ectopic pregnancy" & "ovarian cysts - false pregnancy test" Lately i have been having what seem to be normal period cramps, i really never had cramps during my menstrual periods but i guess with this pregnancy i am, they aren't super painful or anything of that sort, but i notice when i press down on my left side a little bit above my left hipbone more towards my pelvic area, i can feel like a little pain, only when i push, and im concerned that i might either have an ovarian cyst & not be pregnant at all, or something more serious, im not bleeding and have no vomiting or nausea, please help me calm my mind a little. thanks.

It is actually normal to have a cyst on your ovary during the first trimester of pregnancy... It is a collection of fluid in the part of your ovary that makes the hormones to support the pregnancy. Because you say you are six weeks and 3 days pregnant i assume you have had a positive pregnancy test and an ultrasound to confirm that you are actually pregnant and that the pregnancy is in your uterus. If not, getting an ultrasound would be the best way to evaluate your uterus and ovaries. Not every pregnancy causes nausea and vomiting, lots of people feel fine when they are pregnant. Cramping is also normal as your uterus begins to stretch. If you have no bleeding these are all normal findings in early pregnancy. So please, relax, so far there is no reason to worry, and see a doctor to do an ultrasound if you haven't done so already. Good luck, and hope that this was a helpful answer for you.
