What Causes Pain In The Hips While Suffering From High BP?

Male 59 years old 5 10 225 ( weighed in at 387 just 9 years ago but over 5 years lost 160 lbs I am having progressively worse get pain in both hips more in the buttocks area. This has been going on for nearly 60 days. My head is very cloudy, I am getting progressively weaker weekly if not daily. I am diabetic type Ii 28 years insulin dependent. Over the last six months I have been dealing with: Extremely high BP. Avg 180/90 cannot tolerate BP Medes. In last 9 days BP has decreased to an average 140/70 no meds My limbs are numbing and I am loosing strength. Extremely tired and cannot say awake long. Have had declining Heath issues since a very bad bout with MRSA 2 years ago which required 30 day round of iv Vancouver you n and 30 days later a 45 day round of Dactomycin. Since a the iv I have lost 60 percent of feeling in arms legs feet and hands. I have felt like I have lived in a doctors office office the last 2years. I became very addicted to fentenyl 150 every 3 day patches. Hydro codons 4 times daily, lirica 3 times a day, zanex, ambiance every night, linzess to evacuate. I couldn t take the pills and studs any longer and last December went through withdrawals 4 times on my own to get off all meds.. I am really getting concerned that my doctors don t think I am in as bad as shape as I try to explain to them. I am not afraid of dying but I am afraid of doing through this constant pain and confusion and the only answer I get is the diabetes. I fear that I don t have much longer that I will be able to even walk. Any ideas or would you agree that this is most likely diabetes? I am very sensitive to all medications. Very sensitive

Hello,

The hip pain is unrelated to hypertension. Probable causes will be neurological like sciatica.

As first-line management drugs like gabapentin can be taken. In severe cases consult a neurologist and get evaluated.
