What Causes Pain In The Hips?

I am a 48 yr old female with lots of hip pain for the last 6 months. Left side goes down my leg. I also have lower back, knee pain, and recently neck pain. Years ago a doctor said I had fibromyalgia but I ve never done anything with it just deal. I have tried to find a doctor to help but I can t seem to find someone that doesn t want to drug me up. I m ok with a little medication but I don t want to have to take meds. Any suggestions? The only reason I m even seeking help now is because I m not able to sleep nor can I lay on my sides. Entire body feels like a bruise . Thank you

Hi,

You should definitely see an orthopedics . It's either fibromyalgia or a spine pathology involving the disc and nerve so pain is going down the leg. If it's just fibromyalgia then they will prescribe physiotherapy but for any disc problem you meds be evaluated with MRI scans.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
